Brian Bailys, a certified public accountant since 1983, began his career as a Federal, State, and Local tax specialist. He was an IRS Audit Support person for the Michigan based accounting and consulting firm of Plante and Moran.
In 1993 Brian formed The Bailys Group, a consulting firm to provide his high net worth client base, income tax, estate tax and financial planning services. In addition, Brian has been involved in many aspects of private equity, including investment analysis, due diligence, transaction structure, and negotiations.
Brian has participated in strategic planning with numerous “early stage” companies and has served in many different capacities with the companies he has worked with. Raising capital for those early stage companies has been an integral part of his involvement. Currently Brian’s portfolio companies include Wisharoopark.com (a children’s entertainment property), CellepathicRX (a mobile drug adherence company), Best Home Health Care (a communications plat form), and Student Loan Strategies, LLC (a student loan forgiveness advisory firm). Brian plays an active role in many of these companies and serves on the Board of CellepathicRX and Best Home Health Care.
Brian has served on many boards of both private and public companies. Brian has participated in numerous civic roles, serving as treasurer of The United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, Cleveland Chapter, a Board Member of the Parent Volunteer Association for Retarded Children and Adults, and as a member of the Beachwood Chamber of Commerce. Brian is providing pro bono services to assist Project Adopt to start a national adoption program to find parents for high risk children. Brian currently mentors a high school student that has the goal becoming an entrepreneur
He is a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Ohio State University in 1981. Brian has been married to his wife, Patty, for 27 years. They have three (3) grown children, Linsey, Lauren and Brandon.
In Brian’s spare time he is an avid duathlete.

Mary Caputo was a paralegal for seventeen years in a downtown law firm and has been an administrative assistant to Brian Bailys for fourteen years.
She is a graduate from Holy Name High School and attended Cleveland State University.
Mary Caputo is married and the mother of six children. She enjoys reading and watching her children in the various sports they play. She resides in Auburn Township with her family.
